The owner and principal designer at Yochi, Barbara Cameron, is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Barbara graduated from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts before obtaining her degree in Interior Design fron the Interior Designer's Institute in Newport Beach, California. She was both a commercial and residential designer for fifteen years in San Diego before relocating to Hawaii in 2000. In addition to high end residential design, she has also done work for the model home industry and spent two years as house designer for a retail chain based in Mexico City. Her commercial design experience includes health care as well as office design. Barbara is also an active participant in the growing field of sustainable or "green design". She is a member of the United States Green Building Council and is a LEED Accedited Professional.
